About Laurie Luttrell
Growing up in Muskoka, a popular cottage and resort area of Canada, has given Laurie an appreciation for the beauty in simplicity and nature that shows in her designs. Love for the area had Laurie and her husband Scott chose to stay rooted in their hometown and raise two wonderful daughters surrounded by the landscape and family that they love.
Adopted at birth into a wonderful and loving family in Northern Ontario Canada, Laurie reconnected with her birth father as a young adult and discovered a proud part of her cultural heritage with roots in Cree and Italian communities.
Laurie has begun to explore these roots through her work with the hopes of adding her voice to a complex history while honouring and respecting the voices of those with lived Indigenous experiences.
"As a parent, I understand the priorities and challenges for families working within a budget. Keeping that in mind, I always try to ensure that my work is beautifully styled and affordable to work well within my clients lifestyle.
I love hearing the words people use to describe my work; peaceful, calm, simple, quiet, beautiful.... Wonderful words and ideas that bring a smile whenever I hear them. All words that life could use a touch more of. "
